Iwona Lisztwan, has been coordinating the LEADER measure in DG AGRI since early 2021. Iwona has a linguistic background coupled with a PhD in regional aspects of rural development. Iwona has an extensive experience in rural development starting from pre-accession SAPARD programme in Poland, then moving to the Commission to coordinate Polish rural development and working on Turkey’s pre-accession IPARD and setting up LEADER there. Iwona is interested in the processes of change, communication and understanding the increasing complexity of today’s world.
