Márta Márczis has been the president of AIEDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development, www.aeidl.eu ) since 2011. Since 2001, she has been working with the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) on inclusive urban/rural development programmes. As a leading expert, she piloted the LEADER approach in Serbia, contributed to the creation of the North-Macedonian Rural Network, led the experimental implementation of the LEADER/CLLD approach in the Republic of Moldova (2016-2018) and now in Armenia (2019-).
