Project search-cooperation topics : mobility, renewable energy, slow-tourism and centralities

Quote

Hello,

We are a French Local Action Groupe named Vallons de Vilaine situated in the area of the city of Rennes (Bretagne) and we would like to develop a transnational cooperation with other LAGS participating in the EAFRD/LEADER programme.

Based on our strategy, we have identified 4 topics on which we wish to cooperate:

  1. Land sobriety:

To enrich our reflections, our territory wishes to engage in the exchange of good practices with other territories, which, like us, want to combine living well together, densification of centralities, innovation in terms of housing and concrete response to the evolution of our lifestyles.

We want to implement a cooperation that allows us to explore the fields related to the response to the challenges of densification of peri-urban and rural territories.

  1. The structuring of renewable energy sectors:

In line with the various local strategic documents, we plan to promote:

- Acculturation, skills development, exploration of methods and exchange of best practices on energy transition issues.

- The implementation of joint studies in several territories, animation or actions for the development or structuring of new renewable energy sectors.

  1. Alternative and innovative forms of mobility:

In the field of mobilites, in order to find alternatives to the car and in particular solo driving, it is necessary to reflect on studies or experiments to envisage new modes of transport or innovative solutions to respond to commuting migration. It will be a question of exchanging with other territories that are also thinking about the decarbonisation of mobilities.

  1. Slow-tourism:

Finally, the theme of slow-tourism seems essential to us and adapted to our territory, making it possible to enhance the diversity of natural and built landscapes while respecting the environment and involving the inhabitants. The aim is to offer alternative tourism that promotes the (re)discovery of local areas, encounters, sharing with the local population and the preservation of resources.

To resume, the cooperation actions that we could develop together are :

  • Innovative cooperation operations to strengthen centralities and the land sobriety
  • Cooperation operations around the potential for the development of one or more renewable energies allowing the territory to become more self-sufficient in energy
  • Cooperation operations on the development of alternative mobility
  • Cooperation operations on the development of innovative offers in the field of slow-tourism

If you are interested in these cooperation proposals, don’t hesitate to contact us :
